The Deep Rest Restorative Journey is a personal wellness experience sharing Gentle Somatic Movement, Cacao Meditation, A Restorative Yoga Flow, Yoga Nidra & Sound Journey.
You can think of it as a 2hr massage or acupuncture treatment for the nervous system and brain.
We begin with a gentle somatic movement flow to prepare the body for our cacao meditation. Gentle, easeful movements to help you attune to the body and witness how the body needs to be moved in the moment to land in full presence to the experience.
We then move into a meditation dose of cacao (25 grams), during this meditation we are dropping further into presence, arriving fully in the body and receiving any heart wisdom from the medicine of cacao to anchor the journey.
A restorative yoga flow follows with long intentional pockets of rest throughout a series of supported poses meant to support the physical layer of the body, signalling a sense of safety to the nervous system that allows the brain the space to enter into the theta brainwave states unlocking deep states of relaxation and restoration at a cellular level.
As the body begins to drift into the theta brain wave states, yoga nidra anchors even deeper states of relaxation unlocking the witnessing consciousness state, at this state we can plant seeds of intention within the subconscious mind for change, growth expansion or any other particular theme participants are ready to explore.
Our experience ends with a Sound Journey to anchor our practice of intentional rest and provides space for integration.
This is the ultimate R & R experience. Leave feeling rejuvenated, restored & deeply resourced.
The in person experience is hosted at our beautiful wellness hub - The Hexagon House, located on Calle Olingo, Cocles, Caribe Sur. Everything you need will be provided, simply come as you are. Location details shared closer to the date of your arrival.
